InchWith our R&D laboratory, we altered the position of the flasks and adapted the body to women fts bodies to keep it in place, free up the chest and fall perfectly on the waist. To do so, we interviewed a number of women runners and had them test a range of bags. What is more, our model makers introduced a large number of measures, and we even worked with the team who develop bras for Decathlon, Inchexplains our project manager, Gaëtan.

And how does it actually adapt to women's bodies?

Fed up with bags that bounce all over your shoulders while you run? In order to guarantee the stability and support of this backpack, we developed a patented lateral tightening system to adapt perfectly to your curves, but also two height-adjustable front straps and an adjustable front strap. The shape of the 500ml flasks was also revised to free up your chest. Smaller and fitted with an extendible pipette, they are located lower down than on a normal bag.

8l and 11 pockets: for you to separate and carry all your trail running equipment

There are 5 pockets on the front of this 8-litre trail running backpack: 2 spaces for the 500 ml soft flasks (included), a patented, waterproof phone pocket and 2 pockets for gels or cereal bars. In addition, we added 2 side pockets and 4 rear pockets: 1 patented kangaroo pocket, but also a large compartment with side zip, which houses its own zipped pocket, as well as a large pocket designed for a 1L water bladder (not included).

A bag designed to keep you hydrated, but also so you can access and carry your drink easily

If we consider that we drink an average of 500 ml of water per hour of effort when running (and trail running in this case) and that this backpack lets you carry 2 litres of water, you will thus be able to keep running for 4 hours. With its one-litre rear water bladder (not included) and two front pockets intended to hold 500 ml flasks (included and designed to free up your chest), you can run stress-free between refuelling points!

Carry your poles easily with the quiver attachment system

Since many runners like to use poles, we fitted our 8-litre trail running backpack with an integrated quiver attachment system (quiver sold separately). This ingenious system allows you to carry your poles without compressing your chest or hampering your access to the front pockets. So, you can take out and store away your poles as you like... and depending on the slope!

Lightweight, fit and technical quality

Weighing just 240 g empty, your backpack is a real featherweight! And to ensure it is the right size and fit for you, it comes in 3 sizes: XXS/XS, S/M, L/XL. In addition, thanks to the 2 height-adjustable chest straps, you can adjust and stabilise the gilet for greater comfort during ultra-endurance events. Lastly, our design incorporates technical and stretchy components so the bag will stay close to your body but can still expand where necessary!

3 patented technologies to optimise the performance of this backpack... and your own!

This backpack is the perfect illustration of the spirit of trail running: simple pleasure and pushing your boundaries. The waterproof smartphone pocket is lined and can easily hold your phone even with a flask below it.Thanks to the lateral tightening system, you can adjust and stabilise the bag according to your own body shape. Lastly, we designed an innovative rear kangaroo pocket, with an angled opening so you can easily access your wind breaker.

A backpack with an eye for detail

You will find a barcode in the rear zipped pocket: scan it to find a wealth of information all about the backpack. There is a laced cord design at the back of this women's gilet - a little touch added by our modeler that we absolutely love (the design and the designer, of course). What is more, the front right pocket houses a 110 db whistle - mandatory on a number of trail courses, especially in the mountains.

Product Testing

This backpack was tested by various female runners with different body shapes. They ran with all the mandatory material required in most official races. We would like to take this opportunity to thank them for their help and precious advice: their feedback helped us capitalise on our expertise and, consequently, create the ultimate version of this new product, which we are particularly proud of.
