Waterproofing

All Quechua tents are validated in a laboratory (whole tent under 200 L/hour for 3 hours), as well as in the field. (2000mm PU-coated polyester flysheet, 5000mm PU polyester groundsheet, all seams sealed with thermo-bonded tape). A breathable polyester bedroom under the flysheet means you don't come into contact with the condensation that forms naturally on the inside of the flysheet.

Ventilation

2 side doors enable maximum ventilation when they are open. Breathable mesh bedroom with mechanical ventilation. The space between the flysheet and around the base of the tent enables air to circulate between the bedroom and the flysheet and reduces natural condensation. The Fresh technology reduces the sun's heat.

Pitching/folding

Enjoy the exclusive "EASY" technology to pitch your tent in 1 minute. The self-standing structure lets you move the tent once it has been assembled to find the best location. As designers and users who love our playing field, we care about the durability of our products, that’s why all our tents are designed to be repairable. The spare parts and pole repairs are available from your Decathlon workshop or on our website.If you have a problem, have your tent inspected in your nearest Decathlon store.

OUR ENVIRONMENTAL APPROACH

We have chosen to use dope-dyeing on the inside room, the groundsheet and the blue part of this tent's flysheet. This dyeing process dyes the thread during manufacture. On the white part of the flysheet, it is greige, meaning that the fabric is not dyed. The colour is raw.This reduces the amount of water used and polluted compared to a standard dyeing process.

Mattress compatibility

We recommend you use the tent with the self-inflating or trekking mattress measuring 65 cm maximum width. We do not recommend the use of inflating mattresses above 6 cm deep in this tent due to the reduction in living space and resistance to condensation.

Wind resistance

We test all of our tents in a wind tunnel on a rotating table to expose each side of the tent to the wind. A properly pitched tent with all the guy ropes properly positioned around the tent should remain habitable in wind speeds of up to 50 km/h measured near ground level (Force 6).

Product Testing

Our design team conceives, plans and designs Quechua products in France, at the foot of Mont Blanc. We test them in the field with other campers, to check their comfort and durability. From Brittany to Corsica, we go to as many places as possible, in all weather conditions. These experiences are highly beneficial for us, allowing us to hear your feedback and start thinking about our future products!

Storage Instructions

After use or cleaning, do not store your tent until it is perfectly dry to prevent odors and mold from forming.
