We designed your jacket for intense winter conditions: extreme cold, snow, and wind. It features thick synthetic wadding that insulates by trapping air in its fibers. A long inner flap under the zip blocks cold air, and the bottom tightening ensures a comfortable fit.

Your jacket features a waterproof outer layer to block water and wind. For winter warmth, it includes a hood with removable synthetic fur, wrist cuffs, and a stand-up collar to shield against the cold. The high handwarmer pockets, lined with fleece, provide a cozy spot to protect your hands.

Waterproofness of this jacket

The waterproofness of a fabric, indicated in Schmerber or mm H²O, measures its resistance to water pressure. The higher the number, the more waterproof the fabric. This jacket features a waterproof component rated at 15,000 mm H²O (Schmerber) before washing, according to the JIS 1092 standard. It can protect you from a heavy downpour, equivalent to 12 cm of rain in 2 hours.

A fabric's water-repellent property allows water to run off its surface without soaking in, keeping the fabric lightweight, warm, and breathable. This property is achieved by treating the fabric's exterior, and it needs to be renewed throughout the garment's lifespan, ideally after each wash. Water-repellent treatments are available in our stores in spray or liquid form.

How to dress properly for snow hiking?
